Public charging on lamp posts and bollards
Shell's ubitricity operates the UK’s largest public charging network for electric vehicles through on-street lamp post and bollard chargers.
We want charging to be available to the millions of UK electric vehicle drivers without private parking. More than 5,000 Shell ubitricity chargers are already in place using lamp posts and bollards so drivers can charge while parked on the street. By 2025, Shell aims to install 50,000 of these chargers up and down the country and, by 2030, we aim to have 100,000 public charge points, which includes our forecourts.
